George Lucas went to USC. And by your spelling and immaturity, you definitely aren't going to USC, so shut your facehole.

In my experience, people who can't be bothered to spend the few extra seconds required to spell things properly in a text-based medium, especially when they're creating a topic, tend to be on the lower end of smart. There are exceptions, but over the last decade or so, they've been pretty rare.
The thread title rather suggests that this one isn't an exception.

Oh shit, if anyone read that last thing forget what I said. His local college is the community college Lucas went to before switching to USC (good old wikipedia) I missed the "its a local college none of you have heard of" part. Yeah I take it back he's probably pretty dumb.

I can't determine it, but I can often make an educated guess to within a reasonable degree of doubt.

I've met lots of people in person having first met them online and I've yet to be wrong about their level of intellect. This probably indicates that I've spent far longer than is healthy using text-based communication mediums. So yes, I do have a fair bit of experience in this area.

Also, I don't consider grades to be much of an indication unless they're abnormally high. I've known some very smart people who failed miserably at assessments for a variety of reasons. Conversely, I've known people who weren't that intelligent but worked very hard to get excellent grades.

As such it's not absurd at all. Human behaviour follows many patterns and this doesn't change just because their physical body language isn't visible. The way people act online is different, but it does relate to their personality and their general level of intelligence. There are exceptions, but as I said, so far they seem pretty rare in my experience.

Did I mention I changed my last post when I figured out what school this guy's talking about? I stand corrected he's most likely a moron and probably insecure. He probably wanted everyone to be all "OMG GEORGE LUCAS YOU'RE SO LUCKY!!!"

I'd just like to add there is a fine line between a few typos and typing in such a crude dialect that its difficult to read. Of course this kid hand no capitals or punctuation which is pretty bad.

I'm confused. What is your question? I need to properly rename this thread, or just delete it.

None of us are really going to be able to help you pick out your classes with out a pdf of a course schedule.

Just because your going to the same school as George Lucas doesn't mean you'll automatically be as successful as him. Good directors went to bad schools and bad directors went to good schools. It's all about your effort and hard work.

I kind of disagree. Sometimes on a forums it is time consuming to correct a typo.

There are typos and there's just a complete disregard for grammar. Typo's aren't that bad it's just how the person carries their online persona.

Just use Firefox. It isn't time consuming at all when everything you've typed wrong is underlined with red. It's just a simple click.

But I'd also like to make the point that the previous title "MACS CAN BLOW ME" (before i changed it) suggests a lower lever of maturity. It might not be the case in this situation. But it was pretty stupid. I'm sure it was a matter to grab attention knowing that it would cause people to look at the thread. (Congrats OP) But i think he should also realize that he probably will have to use a MAC if he wants to further his career in the film industry. I honestly think it's inevitable.

I would advise you to sit down with a college advisor that can help you pick the classes that will best suit your needs. Not rely on a forum board with about 75% of it's members that haven't graduated from high school.

One of the professors at drexel recommended taking criminology courses. He claimed that if you work in film and video chances are you'll end up working on a story about cops or detectives.

After hearing that I'm damn glad I took that forensic science course.
