Anyone done a musical?

Now, i haven't actually started much yet, but i started to think about doing a muscial. So has anyone done one before? should i go for it or just forget it? i do commuinity musicals every year and as well as high school musicals, and i think i could write music pretty well. im not talkin feature length but maybe 5-10 minutes. so any suggestions?

I've done music videos and actually just finished writing my own musical, songs and all. I'd say go for it. It will be a learning experience and the most important thing, aside from knowing how to edit, sync, and shoot it, is the performance. And since you say you've done them before, I'm sure it will be top notch. Break a leg!

Do you remember the Simpsons episode where they are watching "Planet of the apes, the musical"? I remember while they were singing the ending song "You finally made a monkey out of me" that it would be great if someone actually carried this idea all the way through. You should find that episode and do the whole thing. i bet you could do it in under 15 minutes
