Ok i used the search button but couldnt find it.
so i have sony vegas 8.0 and lately it isnt opening the editing menu.
ill explain it: so ill say i need to make a title so i open the title input and it appears on the preview screen but I dont get the screen so i can change it so ok ill try to open it manually but that doesnt work either.
so please help

did u drag it up into Video overlay or Text overlay?

ok as you can see i just trie to insert a title

or you could right click on the video in the timeline and click edit generated media.

You might have to reinstall it. You may have a file corrupted. Before you do that though, try to call Sony's helpdesk.
