Free Stop-motion?

Is there anywhere where I can download free stop-motion software? I just want to mess around and see what I can do. Can somebody please help me?

sma anasazi is a toy. it doesnt have very many features, and cant even handle minidv.

i use animator dv simple+. its the free version of animator dv, which is the stuff that the pros use.

Monkey jam is a pretty cool basic program that also allows to experiment with traditional animation aswell if you so wish. You can choose to use a camera that is plugged in and use the software to take pictures. Or just Import a load of pictures you already have on your computer. It doesnt have onionskinning but I like the way it lays out the frames.
