OMG HELP!!

Long story short:
My friends family (my partner in filmmaking), is getting sued, and might have to move to arizona (we live in washington state).

Details:
My friends dad, recently quit his surveying job http://mgsurvey.com
They are sueing him for some violation or something of a contract, that he didnt sign(i think)

i was wondering, because some of you on here are good with the law stuff, if maybe you could see if you could prove this wrong. If you have questions about the details, just ask them on here and i will try to answer them the best i can.

Please help, because my friend is the one who got me into the whole filming thing, and it would really suck if he had to move.
