So I have a driving test today, what should I keep in mind when taking it?

listen to the EXACT words that the tester says. My sister said when she got it, he said " Okay can you step into the car and turn it on for me?" but if she had done that then she would have failed becasue if she did that, while she only had her permit, it is illegal, and they would fail you. Thats what he told her after she passed.

Well I passed. Only by a hair though. The guy had to pull the handbrake when I was turning because I didn't check my blindspot.
I thought for sure I failed. But miracles do happen! :D

nice job. you always have to remember to make it really obvious you are turning you head and checking your blind spot or they will assume you didn't. wearing a baseball cap helps.
how was parallel parking? I alway thought that was useless to test on... if anybody isn't confident with it they just wont do it.
who ever died from parallel parking?
anyways, congrats.

He made me parallel park. I hit the curb but stopped immediately. Apparently it's alright if you hit it just as long as you don't go on it. So I just straightened out and got it good.
What annoys me is that most of these testers seem like real (lack of a better term) douche bags. No offense to any testers here. Just when I couldn't hear what the guy was saying I would say "pardon me" and he would just yell at me as if he was angry that I couldn't hear him.
I'm sorry if I'm being rude but if this guy's only pleasure is yelling at 17 year olds then I sure as hell never want to see him again.
Whatever though I don't ever have to see him again because I passed.
I'd like to hear other people's driving test success or horror stories! :D
