i was wondering how to advertise it so more people go to it and use the forums and such. also, does anyone know if people actually make donations on freewebs websites?

thanksSerious question - Why do you need a forum?
Building up a forum is a difficult process, it can be done even without a hook, but it's tricky. What do you actually hope to gain by doing it?

Not a hideous site though, btw, even if the URL sucks something awful. *chuckles*

I'd go with Vaughn Whynot's suggestion - use a social networking site. We do it with the Napier Subculture Society and it works pretty well.

freeforums.org (http://www.freeforums.org/) to me is the best one out there
very easy for new users and has addons like a blog and whatnot
i did have one with jconserv but they are douches and shut down without notice and did not give me my payment back
but yeah freeforums are pretty rad

Put it in sigs. Tell absolutely everyone. And when I go to store that have Sharpies, they always have little note pads you can write on to play with the Sharpies. Anyway I write www.kmpfilms.com And see I just made a advertisement in this post too. So just write it wherever you can.

I don't really have anything to fund. I bought the Premium Package for a year for like 25 USD. I just suck it up and fork over the money. lol And I work my butt off for the money.:D

you can host a free site off your computer using joomla (http://www.joomla.org/) but you would still have to buy a domain

Verdict : They sent me to collections for items I never wanted renewed. They didn't call me or mail me prior to sending me to collections, and I had no idea that I even owed the money. Even if they turned out to be right, and I did owe the money, how about a reminder via mail or a phone call prior to sending me to collections?

Their service was so difficult to use that I stopped using it month ago. My client lost interest in their website, so I was just hoping to let it expire.

I then emailed them for an explanation, and they simply gave me instructions on how to cancel my account.

DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I absolutely hate godaddy. I've tried and and it wouldn't let me upload my own HTML coded pages. It sucks so bad.

I use Midphase hosting/AN Hosting. They seem pretty good so far.
