Dear Indy Mogul Crew,
I'm shooting a film with a ghost. I don't know how to make my actor transparent, and i don't exactly know how to make it look. Any help here? Thanks, -SweeneyToddDude666.:);)

you could use a greenscreen and independently change the effects/transparency of the ghost and the background

Shy of some probably cheesy makeup, you'll pretty much need a greenscreen to pull it off. If you're going for a real horrifying phantasm, I'd say best results would be to do both makeup and do some post on the actor. I personally like static-y effects on my ghosts - the grain helps to reinstate the spectre into the scene, instead of just looking like a glowing dude that was laid over the footage.

I'm partial to the sheet of the head technique
