and what exactly you should pay attention to.
this list is subject to editing by myself in order to add things that i saw fifteen years ago and forgot about (or something i finally saw for the first time at much urging) but you have to see anyway.
there are so many aspects to filmmaking that create an experience for the audience that i will compile the best instances of any given focus. but first remember that all stories fall under one of three categories: man vs. man, man vs. self, or man vs. nature. consider these the all-time flexible top-fives in genius execution. and remember that true examples are those that are quite like a fine wine and less like someone with a baseball bat looking to just beat you over the head with /whatever/.
