I'v Been asked to film a quick part for a wedding..

Besides organization and professionalism (I struggle alittle with organization) what are important things to know?

Besides the basics of film making.

My Audio as to be perfect as well just so people can hear what they are saying, Audio is the most important thing.

I have 2 weeks to film and edit everything (its work befor the wedding)

Im just going to thank you for any suggestion.
Thanks

well if u have two cameras you could just have the other one on a tripod recording a wideshot of the place where the wedding takes place the most eg. when pepole are dancing and all that stuff. and then just film closer shots with the other... and in editing just put them in a somewhat chronological order...

a friend does weddings
and he uses those clip on mics when the bride and groom do there speeches
and for everything else
he has a friend use the boom and he uses like 4 cameras
the one thing he makes sure is that the food people make sure not to stand in front of him or to not get in the way of the shots
i know i am not much help
but maybe that can give you some idea
remember the bride is always right on here wedding day

ya
if its just the speeches
make sure to use a boom
unless they are doing the speeches over a pa system
then maybe you can wire in your audio from that so they are clear

if your filming and editing on the spot
i hope you have a laptop
if not
tripod and boom mic
don't have the people doing with a mic
it looks stupid and sometimes people go to close to there mouth and they will pop there p's

ya Ill extrnal mic them most likely
Have them sit infornt of the camera and have a Mic on the table that they dont move.

Having them hold mics always looks lame and tacky
