I saw it today.

I thought it was pretty good. It didnt live anywhere up to the standards of the first movie, but it sure made me happy and entertained to finally see Mulder And Scully back on screen................ and in love.

I read one review before I saw it, and it said that it just feels like an extended episode. I can certainly see that. It looked like they had the same budget as an episode, compared to the first movie that had buildings explode, trips to antartica, giant space ship, etc. This movie didnt have any of that, but it was still pretty good to see them back on screen.

Anyone else here see it?

i just look at yahoo. http://news.yahoo.com/s/eonline/20080725/en_movies_eo/8c13a081_c9754c66_81b7_d92ad53e552f;_ylt=AuA1S1Z9w B5cNVJxtiyrHvcwFxkF

my instinks were right. it says the first movie had a budget of $66million.
This film was made for $35million.
And you can tell the difference.

But I like where it says that it seems to be tied right now with 'step brothers'.

I was expectiong 'step brothers' to be huge and smah the x-files, but in my oklahoma town, we usually only get the big movies, and not the smaller films. But opeinign today, we only got x-files added. NOT step brothers.
