i need some cool tutorials for sony vegas. it might really spice up future movies.

I use sony vegas too and trust me when I say this you don't need any tuts for that program, it's easy to figure out if you try, and a cool trick inside it is always combine effects, people usualy add only one FX to a clip but if you add several at the same time you could get some nice stuff ;)

vegas is amazing and detonationfilms.com has a tutorial for gunshots/explosions

its ment for halo 2 machinima but you can still use it for real life films too obviously.

I would take a look at the Adobe Premiere CS3 demo, if you want something a bit more robust. It's definitely worth looking at, even if you just want to compare features.
