Most of the above, plus black garbage bags, extra batteries, and the charger. Plus i have a leatherman instead of a swiss army knife, but same concept. I also sometimes take my laptop, and always my slate.

I always carry around a "Napster" production bag. In it I ALWAYS carry:
• Super glue
• A red shoelace
• Sweat wipes
• A First Aid kit
• Business Cards
• A quarter (for screwing and unscrewing XLR adapters)
• Sweat wipes (for actors on-camera)
• Makeup and cotton balls
• Chewing gum (you'd be amazed how hard it is to act next to an actor with foul breath)
In this bag I also carry a binder with all the paperwork of the movie, in case anything comes up on set.
I also take extension cords (depending on the location) and extra batteries, a head cleaner, and extra tapes.

I'm a simple man:
Water
Knife
Batteries
I don't carry around gaff tape unless I know I'm gonna need it.

What about lighting equipment? Thats pretty important right? But also very heavy and hard to carry around? I would suggest that you get your friends together and organise who is bringing what so joe blogs will bring all the food i will bring all the paperwork and tom smith can take the camera that way u dont end up with duplicates and no one ends up carrying to much!
