Needler/ Halo series

i was looking in my garage, i a found water gun that looked almost exactly like a needler from the halo games, but of course it didnt have the needles sticking out. can someone tell me what i should use to make the purple needles? if it was light up than that would be great but just knowing how to make the needles would be fine

Make a bunch of needles out of cardboard then , pour some mold casting product like latex in a box about 1/2 then take a old pan that you make Sugar Glass , Homemade liquid Latex , ect and throw some clear plastic like a water bottle or some clear modeling rubber and melt it and keep it from harding , then your mold should be about halfway dry so take the cardboard pieces out and wait for it to dry completely. Take your clear melted substance of choice and mix in pink and purple food coloring till you get the right color. Pour it in the mold and wait for it to dry , when it's dry take the pieces out and if needed cut off any extra molded substance. Then just cut some holes a little smaller then the needles and force them in.

Make sure to wear a dust or gas mask because i heard rumors that the smell of melted plastic will kill you! but pourable rubber for modeling should be fine.

I've seen some like crystals and plastic stuff for like necklaces and stuff that would work decently, let me see if I can find them.

too make them glow id just use some leds and make a clear mold like michaelbak said
