I was just wondering how many people on here had/have film or video classes in high school. I'm just wondering because my high school never offered anything like that but it seems like a lot of people have/had it in their high school.

I haven't, but next year I'm going to try to get into an art school that we have here. But it's after normal school, so you have 2 schools kinda. But apparently they have only like 1 or 2 film students a year so there isn't actually a class. They pretty much just supply you with stuff and you get total freedom. At least that's what someone that went to the school told me.

Never... My school was boring. I only started making films when I graduated high school.

My high school was awesome. G-Star SOTA for Motion Pictures and broadcasting. It was a charter school, so it was completely free, and they had full t.v. studios and a warehouse turned into a soundstage. I think every state should have a school like that. Unfortunately i got kicked out for fighting with a teacher (not my fault).

We had a film making class. It was pretty basic but hella fun.

At my new high school there isn't anything related to film. It sucks. :(

I had a video productions class at my school. But it was lame because we never made anything. My teacher would assign us video projects and we'd work on them for a little bit and then they would never be due. Pretty much all we did for the rest of the year was watch movies and then take a short quiz after. It was really dumb.
