No. That show was horrible. The judges had no idea what they were talking about.

Well I agree with the judges but over all I thought it was a good show.

Good thought, but just becasue a bunch of filmmakers on the internet said to bring it back, I don't think FOX would. On the Lot was not very interesting to most people. It only targeted a small portion of people, and therefore was not very profitable.

I never really liked that show. If it weren't set up like a typical reality show, I think it would be better.

project grrenlight gives you the most indepth view of the movie making process than any other show out there.

That wasn't a reality show... it was a GAME SHOW.
A real reality show is something like... Baby Borrowers. Where no body wins anything. If you win something it's a GAME SHOW because you win at games. Reality is living. Real stuff happening. You know?

I assume you mean "on the lot" as the game show, and not "project greenlight" as mentioned in the post above yours.
Cause'd I'd agree about "on the lot" being gameshowy. But Project greenlight was very nice.

Oh my bad. Yeah. Hahah On the Lot was a game show. I never saw Project Greenlight, though.

Really, you haven't heard of it?!
It was this show where they took some unheard of directors and it was basically a competition, with eliminations 'n' such. Eventually the winner got a deal with Universal I think. But the judges didn't really know what they were talking about and the whole show became just about watching the films. Whereas it was supposed to be about the process. And the films just mostly became "whoever had the coolest effects won". But I still liked the show. I'd sign a petition to get it back if they did bring it back [which I highly doubt] they'd have to change some stuff around for it to be decent.
This (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_the_lot) explains it better...

not completely true. I used to hang with Carrie underwood about 3 years or so before she won American idol.
There ARE exceptions. but not many.

Speilberg produced it I think. Or he though of the idea or something. Just look at the link I gave, it says it on like the first sentence I think.
