Why would anyone make fun of you? It's a good movie. Not as good as it was hyped up to be, but still really good.

Why do people keep saying Pulp Fiction is an Independent film! its far from it.
Big Budget
Funded By a studio
Big name actors
I really don't think it was independent. Its still my favorite film though :D

Big Budget? 8.5 mil is not that much...
A lot of indie films are funded by studios, the term indie usually refers to a movie not funded by one of the big 5 companies. Miramax was the distributor and Lawrence Bender was the producer.
Big name actors have joined many indie films. Boogie Nights has some big stars in it, not counting the ones that came from it to become big stars.

I thougt El Mariachi was going to be a load of hype, but then I saw it and loved it. The best bit is the chase scene in the middle, really well done.
Also I'm liking Limerance
