anyone know how to run your footage backwards using fx home, pinnical, or anyother free software i could download? I have a great shot of a ship flying by but it's the wrong way.
Thanks!

Download the trial version (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/trials/moviestudio) of Sony Vegas and use the "Reverse Event" function.

You don't want to reverse it then, you want to flip it 180 Degrees. If your ship is going the wrong way just flip the footage and it will be going the other way. If you reverse it the ship will go backwards. In FXhome I think you can just grab the left middle handle of your footage and pull it right. That should flip it.

I think he means the ship is actually flyaing backward. Like, it moves toward its tail

If you're using FXhome's software just click on the video name on the timeline and the Object Attributes window appears, click on the red circle next to reverse and you footage will now play backwards.
If you are trying to flip the footage then expand the clip on the time line making sure you are on the first frame of the footage. Click on animation and the Animation Attributes window will appear, the down arrow next to quad will let you flip it horizontally/vertically. Further down on the Animation Attributes window you also have options to rotate the footage, simply click on it then type your value in.
