OK, I have the same problem, only difference is I live in the Netherlands. So, I bought some other stuff and I would like to know what will probably work best, I bought agave syrup, sunflower oil, and strawberry syrup. I got red and green food colouring

so wat would work better:
A) concentrated agave syrup
B) water, sugar 36% (sugar/glucose) red food colouring, strawberry aroma

I have never used agave syrup..but sugar would not do. Agave syrup looks like its pretty much the same thing...so I would give that a try.

what would sugar not do, i mean, what is actually so special about corn syrup :) I'm going to make it tomorrow because it's 8:07 pm here and the stores are closed, I got to buy the food colouring

What differs it from just mixing in sugar is that it is a thick syrup rather than a crystalline powder.
Agave syrup and food colouring should be fine.

Just use Arissa's method. I made some last night, and it looks [and tasted] really good. Just a bottle of HERSHEY'S chocolate syrup and a bottle of McCORMICK'S red food coloring. I think that you have to use those brands otherwise it won't work. Arissa said that she used 3/4 of the food coloring and the whole bottle of syrup. I used the whole bottle of syrup and the whole bottle of food coloring because the syrup I got was this new special one that had like 22% more or something. So I had to use more food coloring to counter that.

But Hersheys is all over the world. You really don't have Hershey products? I'm pretty sure Hersheys is like one of the HUGE companies that is all over the place. Like McDonalds (which is gross...) or something.
