i just got a mac pro and i want to connect it to wireless internet
do i need the airport card and airport extreme?
i already have a wireless router on another computer downstairs...so can you guys help me please?

no you don't.
at the top bar on the right side near the clock, there should be an airport symbol which looks like curved lines getting progressively larger. right click (control+click) on it and go to join network. find yours, enter your password and there you go.

That's not what he's asking. A Mac Pro, not Macbook Pro. With a Mac Pro you need a wireless card or that will pick up his wireless signal or a card that you can plug in hard wire.

so a mac pro does not have wireless connection built in?
so what type of airport card should i get?
