I have uploaded over 70 video's to youtube and this last one is jerky. This is also the first time I have used any of the effects but when I played it in media player before uploading, it looked smooth and fine. It was like youtube encoded every other frame and left the music alone...
Does anybody know why this happend? Take a look. It is a cool effect, but not for the whole video.

What were your render settings?

I don't know, I just use the "best" setting on windows movie maker... it has always worked fine before...
One of the effects must be wreaking havoc with youtube.

Frankly man... I say abandon YouTube.
Create a Vimeo account (REALLY REALLY EASY), and upload it there.
If it's still jerky, then try rendering it again.

I just signed on to Vimeo and I think I am uploading the same video, but there is no progress bar... how do you know when it is done?

It should give you a full progress bar. It tells you what percentage there is done, and tells you how long you have left.

I reuploaded my video and it is better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_80TZwteno
I see no progress bar on vimeo, I may need to shut down my comp. and start from scratch .
