I think it might be helpful if we start knowing where everybody is.

It might turn out that some of us are neighbors and don't even know it, and I think it could help some of us that might be looking for actors/cinematographers/SFX people/ people to hold lights/etc. that might live in our area.

the greatest thing about robocop is that criterion goddamn added it to their catalog. i saw that movie when it came out in a small theater in montana and it ranks in my top-five theater experiences.

red dawn, happiness, robocop, aliens, and requiem being the most poingant experiences in-theater i think i've had. -pulp fiction and south park the movie and a midnight screening of taxi driver as honorable mention...only because i was stupidly high:eek:-.

In all honesty i hate Texas. Now before you get up in my face let me explain. When I in my second year of highschool i took a vacation to Texas. It was a little hot but nothing i couldn't handel. We stayed in a very nice Hotel in Huston about 4 floors up. The second day we were there I woke up to this crazy not good feeling in my legs. It was a scene right out of a horror movie. I threw back the covers to find that my legs were swollen and cover in FIRE ANTS!!!! I being one of the few people allergic to them had to go to the hospital and spent the rest of my vacation in a wheel chair. So seriously screw Texas.

So I'm sure as to why you can understand why I hate Texas.

Texans hate fireants as well, I can promise you that, we battled them constantly, they are invaders to our proud state.

So maybe, you should hate Fireants and sympathize with Texans who have to deal with them constantly, and also hate them.

Although, i've been stung so many times and pumped so full of formic acid that I hardly feel the little buggers anymore.

Lol the texas chainsaw massacre is based on a true story. well details arn't right, but there were a chainsaw massacre for real. they killed 37 people, if i don't mistake.

I don't know of any mass murders that have occured in Texas involving chainsaws.

The events of the film were based loosely on the Ed Gein case, Ed Gein was only proven to have killed 2 people, but he gained notoriety due to his skinning and grave robbing activities rather than the shear number of kills.

Also he was from Wisconsin not Texas. The worse Serial Killer from Texas would be a toss up between Joe Ball "The Alligator Man", and Coral E. Watts.

Joe Ball has a small Alligator farm behind the Saloon he ran (This was in the early 1900's.) and he fed live animals to the Alligators. Then women in town started disappearing, and police suspected him, and he killed himself in front of the police. His accomplice claimed about 20 victims.

Coral E. Watts on the otherhand, suggested around 80 murders to his name, but only about a dozen have been suggest for sure to be his attacks. But he mostly stabbed and strangled his victims, he attacked Women who he saw as having "evil" in their eyes.

So yea, those are the two worst murderers in Texas history that I could find, both of them coming under the 30+ victims attributed to the purely fictional Sawyer family (As even if you take Coral E. Watts claims at face value, not all of them were commited IN TEXAS.) , and neither of them utilizing cannibalism.

Blah blah blah, i know, i exaggerated abit, are you HAPPY now??!?! nah, i just wanned to scare that other kid : )

I was born in Santa Monica, California and have lived all over the "Golden State". Yuba City, San Luis Obispo, Chico, San Francisco, Berkeley.

Now I live in Brooklyn, NY.

My dad and I went to San Luis Obispo for spring break. I like it there. Really quiet. Nice mountains and stuff. Not too far from scenic highway 1. Plus you get those awesome Elephant Seals on the beach if you go in late winter/early spring. Nice downtown too, cool shops, cool old cars. Lots of wineries there too.

I live in da Yooperland! Upper Michigan yah eh? I even wrote a little song about it, its kind of a blue grass sounding piece, banjos and harmonicas, here it goes.

Up in the north
there's a place thats grand
in Gods country
called yooperland

where we can live free-e-ee
and the trees grow tall
we've got three seasons
spring winter and fa-ah- all

It’s a place
where your free to ri- i -ide
US 41 & 2 are our great divide

Oh in the North
There’s food that’s tasty
But it’s called a (pass-tee)
And not a (paste-ee)

Where you can live free-e-ee
And hunt and fish
From off your porch
With the satellite di-i-ish

And this place
It is our ho-oh -ome
And from yooperland
May we never ro-oh-oam
From yooperland
May we never roam

---------------------------------------

If you're ever in the area let me know, I'll take you out for a pasty!
