There have been discussions on this. Quarantine looks like a piece of crap compared to [REC]. It will ruin the film. [REC] was a masterpiece and I've never been so scared in a film in my life.
Too bad people will go see Quarantine and never have heard of [REC]. They don't know what they're missing. The actress in Quarantine looks like a piece of shit actress and they give away the bloody ending in the preview. Nothing seems real in Quarantine.
Good job on fucking up a masterpiece.

I saw the preview for Quarantine and immediately thought of [REC].
From the preview I thought it was [REC] before I realized it was just a rip off of [REC].
I mean, serioiusly. It looks like just another gorey american horror film.
It's too bad, a lot of people don't know good horror anymore.

Quarantine won't ruin REC for me, but I do get pissed off hearing people talk about how scary the trailer for Quarantine is.
REC is where its at.

after watching the trailer, rather then the commercial, i wrote a 600 word masterpiece about my opinion of the movie quarintine, but i got signed out, and lost it all. so let me show it in a nutshell.
NOTE : my bullets speak of spoilers
things that sucked...
the trailer shows WAY to much of this movie, i pretty much saw everything.
i think it shows the girl from the end, and made it look laughable at best.
the camera is lite as if its a movie, rather then it being a news camera.
the main girl looks like a perky ass that shouldnt be in the movie. and who says lock it when wanting someone to shut a door?
old people are replaced by younger people... again. thanks america.
feels more like cloverfield had rough sex with 28wl.things it had going for it...
a man getting shot when trying to get out of the building shows how big the situation was.
the lighting, though not fitting, was rather pleasant.so in conclusion. thats all i can say. i was thinking that it could have been a good remake, but now, i can see that only the first 4 minutes could possibly do anything for me. and maybe the ending, just to see if they kept to the original.
Apocalypse WOW!

all I can ask myself is why not just release REC to threaters?

A television documentary crew is following firefighters on their nightly rounds. They receive a call of a person trapped in an apartment. They enter the apartment and all become trapped within due to a possible infection.
Then all hell breaks loose.

Woops nvm, I thought you said without going to theatres.
Unfortunately there's no legal way... unless it's at a festival near you.
