Is the Zoom H2 or H4 better for recording audio for my movies? I'd like the H4 but I've heard that it has a low buzzing sound when you record. So which one?

I tried searching but I can't find what I'm looking for.

I'd go with the H4 just because it has phantom power and XLR inputs.

Ok, I'll take that into consideration. Anyone else? You can also give suggestions for other recorders under $250.

What do you mean by the H4 is crazy? Is that a good or bad thing?
And I don't have a laptop.

The H4 is awesome. Check out this video I made when I got it.

Hey PadawanGeek, is it true that when you plug a mic into the H4, and transfer the file to your pc, the levels are extremely low? I also heard that the headphone volume is low too, is it true? I heard those someplace in a review.

Not true.

I have blasted my ears out connecting to the H4 through headphones, so the headphone thing is not a problem.

It is however true about when you transfer the file to your computer. It didn't really matter to me because I just added more volume to it in post and it still came through crystal clear, so you don't need to worry about losing quality, but it is still a bit annoying, though I don't think its annoying enough to buy something else.
