I've been using Premiere on and off for about a year or so now and I really want to become proficient in both Premiere and After Effects. I started doing the "After Effects Basic Training" tutorials on VideoCopilot.com and was wondering if there is something similar for Premiere? Everything I know about Premiere came from trial and error, which gets the job done, but I want to be proficient at Premiere, not just average.
Thanks in advance.

I just purchased adobe Premiere Pro For Dummies. It's pretty straight forward. I know you were probably hoping for a video of some sort, but this is helpful too.

while on the question of Premier, anyone know how to take a picture of a frame?

I'm at work, and off the top of my head, no. It'll come to me when I'm home sitting at my keyboard with the program running though. In the mean time, you can always hit the Prt Scr button on your keyboard to get a screen capture and then crop out everything you dont need.

Capturing frames in Premiere is easy. Make sure the frame you want is chosen, then go File, Export, Frame. Easy peasy Japanesey.
As for learning Premiere, After Effects and all of the other Adobe products, I've been using Lynda.com. It's $25 a month for their entire training library, which is very comprehensive. If you're dedicated and have the time, you could go through a ton of training in one month then cancel your subscription.

I was about to ask how the tutorials at Lynda.com are. Someone else on another forum suggested that site. I looked through and saw a bunch of tutorials I'd love to go through, but I didn't know if the site was legit and had knowledgeable instructors or just amateurs.
