Non toxic burning paint

i need some paint that will not give off toxic fumes when it is being burned i know that spray paint wont work but will acrylic work? thanks.;)

Every paint will put off toxic fumes expecually aerosol paint.

Are you shooting this outside? Is it necessary to have someone in the same shot as the burning paint? What quantity of paint do you need to burn?

My first guess is water color and non-toxic kids paints will probably be less noxious than other paints, but any kind of flame you'll want good ventilation.

Why do you want to burn paint?
i am doing a scene where a city is burning and detonation films wont cut it because i need it to be more realistic with building falling and all that stuff so i am going to use the stop motion set episode and film it burning and i need a paint that will not give off any toxic fumes but i will be wearing a mask and am going to do it where there is nobody and have somebody with a extinguisher so it will be safe and i probably should have said that from the beginning lol :todd:

they have non toxic paints now that are more environmentally friendly, but those are a tad bit expensive. But if it's outside you don't have to worry TO much, since it'll be be blown away immediately.
