Has anyone else used GoDaddy for web hosting/building a web page and found that they completely and utterly suck!

I know some of my problems are ALL MY FAULT.

However they are useless. The web page designer is far from cool and the amount of features they offer flippin' limited to say the least.

The customer service staff is 50/50, I called one time and the person on the other end was helpful and courteous. I call another time and that person is so condescending it's laughable.

Then when i asked for a refund they behave like i am stealing money from them. Oh and after I've bitched a bit they actually tried to up sell me. I lost my temper and asked to speak with someone that has common sense. The guy just didn't respond.

Is there anybody in Mogulville that has dealt with Godaddy and knows how to play their game?

Did you tell them you were the President of Mogulville and you demand respect?

Seriously, though, I have not used GoDaddy.com but if you're looking for a new site to host, there is two forums I go to and the guy who does both of those sites usually has everything running smoothly if you're looking for a change.

Thanks Sonny, I don't know if I can afford him though. I spent my entire web budget with godaddy.

Oh. He was running a special two weeks ago for $250 one time fee.

I use yahoo to host www.PlanetSanftner.com (under loooong construction).

I havent had any problems with yahoo.
