Hi guys,
I am a senior film major and this semester I making a film where one of my actors has a seizure. During the seizure, I want to shoot him with Blind Eye Contacts, or those contacts that make it look like your eyes have rolled into the back of your head. My actor thinks he can roll his eyes into the back of his head, but I've seen him try to do and he kinda sucks. I was going to purchase some blind eye contacts online only problem is they're way too expensive, like upwards of $100 dollars. I was wondering if there is a way to fix it in post if I can see his pupils? Also if there's a cheap way to obtain the contacts I'd like to know.

yep you can fix it in post but......

you need after effects.

i would not buy the blind eye contacts, one because of the price.......two, i bet your actor does not like the idea of waring them(i wouldn't, would you?)

instead of having the eyes rolled up why not have them dashing around crasily

i can't think of anything else right now.....

Yeah, I would do Andrew Kramer's tutorial. It just seems easier, and probably safer than putting stuff in your actor's eyes without a special effects expert.

Especially when you don't have a prescription. If you just buy some random contacts from the store or online, not having them made for you, there could be some serious issues. Such as cuts and sores on the eyes, headaches, and them possibly being extremely difficult to get out. So I would try to do it in post. If not, ask your eye doctor for more information.
