IM GONNA TOTALLY YELL AT YOU!!!

Actually, if you think about it. BFX doesn't even have it's own website! And Papa Bear Erik Beck is the reason I'm here...

I don't know why I got my own page!

But, seriously folks...the website stuff is a good topic to discuss because me and Erik really want to change the design of indymogul.com and we'd love to know your thoughts....

My idea is this (and Erik probably came up with this before me as well):

Indymogul.com is like a TV channel, right?

So you login and it's like a portal!

You look up at the top of the screen and there's like a TV guide type thing there.... it says Monday and Tuesday and you see, Oh hey! BFX comes on those days, I wanna enter the BFX portal!

So you click on one of those days and boom you enter the BFX page!

And the BFX page (like my page) is custom made to fit in with the look and feel of BFX! Maybe the page looks like it was made for....CHEAP!!! Either way, it's a page designed to be the home of BFX!

Then you're like...hmm okay this is cool, but today is Thursday and it says on the BFX page that it's only on every Monday and Tuesday...so wait? Are there no new shows today? When's the next show?

You look up at the little TV guide at the top of the screen (ala what you did at indymogul.com) and you see, oh hey, Best short films comes on every Thursday! Let me see what thats about.

You click on that day and you enter my site...

etc etc

Thoughts?

Of course, the schedule will be filled out as new shows are added, but I really like this TV guide type thing (as lame as "Tv guide" sounds). I was also wondering if people thought it'd be cool if we had a graphic at the end of BSFITW and BFX that says, "coming up later in the week" BSFITW and for my show... "Next Monday and Tuesday tune in to BFX"

I think it makes things clearer, since there seems to be confusion about shows and air times and all. Especially since BFX is split into two shows now.

I really like that idea Bobby. I presume each shows website will have all the other stuff to do with the show too? Like old episodes, pics etc..

It's a cool idea, I hope it goes ahead.

That sounds like an awesome idea, Bobby!

The BFX page should look like it's made out of duct tape.

well another explanation is that our web platform is growing in an organic manner, as it is new and constantly under development. features exist now that make placing a show like Bobby's on its own "site" much easier that may not have existed when other shows were being created.

Totally. Besides, indymogul.com started as a one show network and it's only recently that it's expanding. So, new shows are easier to add (like Todd said).

likewise, its rather expensive to overhaul something that exists already, and give it a drastic "face lift." not necessarily expensive monetarily, but as far as many other resources are concerned. There is never a moment when design/redesign is not being discussed and considered, the actual execution of such may take an extremely long time to hit the surface as the primary goal is to keep producing quality media.
