trust me when i say that the founder (jakob lodwick) will not let that happen. wolves cull their own, and ignoring and sidelining trolls has become easier as the web ages. see, vimeo celebrates the input of creatives over the reaction of the masses.
and yet i can't begin to tell you how thrilled i was to see a digg-style comment rating system show up on youpoop (hell. it's a start for 'em, ya know?).

It usually looks pretty good to me ... do you have an example?

The behind the scenes indy mogul. I think it's maybe because I'm used to watching Eric on super high quality.

It looks like that was their cameras fault, probably a still digital camera. Because the audio was crap and it looked like that sort of quality.

I find Vimeo slow. Youtube doesn't have buffering...at least on my computer. Vimeo does.

the video quality thing is because it was shot on a nikon coolpix s50 still camera (1.2 megapixels at 30 fps) and not from the dv source we're used to for bfx.
and as far as vimeo being slow: it can be (based upon connection speed), because it streams at twice the bitrate in order to prioritize resolution and lessen compression.

Please do!
I was starting to lose hope that Backyard FX might not come to Vimeo.
I have regained my faith in Erik and Justin since I saw the Next New Networks and the Indy Mogul channels.
Join Vimeo and subscribe to the Indy mogul channel.

I heard they might be having a "pro" version where you must pay for more upload space because HD video tends to be on the larger side if you know what I mean...

have you seen Vimeo's Re-Upload Tool?? I LOVE IT!! So now I can upload a film, have people review it and then re-upload the better version without losing views and comments!!!
