so obviously motion capture equipment is ridiculously expensive..but i am wondering how much it would cost to rent a really good mocap studio for like a day...a mocap studio with full body and facial motion capture....also have any of yo tried motion capture?...

It would cost a HELL of a lot to rent a mocap stage and hire the people with the software to interpret the information.

And no, I have NEVER tried mocap.

I know of there is a 80 Bucks Mocap Software wich you only need a cAMERA a Computer and Cotton Balls

I did some motioncap at Uni. It was the biggest pain in the arse ever. Even with the specialists there it still screwed up every 5 minutes.

Hi, Do you live in the UK or US? becasue if you live in the UK a good motion capture "industry" is http://www.animazoo.com/. I think they do do pricing for the US but they have 2 options, their studio in Brighton is £2,000 per day to hire which includes use of our facilities and technicians, or to rent the system on site which is £2,000 per day plus travel expenses incurred by our technician. They also offer post production from £6 per second of data post produced.
