OMFG!!!!!!!
I just spent 3 straight hours on my AK-47 tutorial and I was finally finished. I went to render and I didn't have any space on my harddrive, so I deleted some files and then I deleted things from the recycling bin.
The files were the raw footage to the tutorial.....
I opened the project in Premiere....
The files were missing.....
AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
does anyone have any advice on how to get my files?!??!:'(:ohsnoes:

uhhhhhhh, recapture the footage, and connect the offline media? I don't know if thats what they call it in premiere, thats FCP terms.
Either way, you've still got it on tape somewhere right?

You can very easily recover your deleted files as long as you don't write anything new to the drive, which may overwrite them. USE A DELETED FILE RECOVERER, you can get them free, but get a good one, and DON'T INSTALL IT TO THE DRIVE THAT YOUR FILES WERE ON. Everything should be OK if you do that.

Can you export an EDL in premiere? If so than just do that and than import it in a new project with the new captured video yes? Not sure if that would work

I did this with a movie i just made (it's on Vimeo). I forgot to de interlace and thought i would just open up my project file that had about six hour of work on it shooting and editing. my hard drive has been broken and since WD has yet to send me my replacement hard drive i edited directly to my Macbook's hard drive. Turns out that the HD file i was working with took up 7GB on my computer and i deleted it. Sadly since i don't have a extra external hard drive i couldn't run time machine and get the footage back. Away from me do you still have the tapes? Going through this situation myself i know how you feel but if you still have the tapes you can just re import the video back in to Premier. i however am not because i still have the final exported file so why bother when i have it done?

It's not gone. It's just hidden. You can still get it if you act fast! It is very easy to recover deleted files!

I really have to comment about the threads title:

3. I've gone over this before in the Welcome Forum, but I want to reiterate, GOOD TITLES WILL GET YOU BETTER ANSWERS. If you're having issues with your camera, a bad title is, "OmG NEEDZ HELPZ!!!1", that tells NO ONE what you want just by reading the title. A BETTER title is, "Need Assistance Camera Issues", maybe even add in that you're getting an error, or the battery won't stay charged or whatever your problem is.
