im not sure if you get paid per view but know its how ever many click on the advertisements next to ur vids, how many people click on ur banner and how many subers(subscribers) you get.
Edit: i looked at your youtube page and you have 28 subscribers you need around 800 to be accepted as a partner so you better work really hard.

Actually its not really the amount of subscribers, its the amount of views you have.
If you have 500k views, your more likely to be a partner versus 15k and 28 subscribers.

I'm getting $25-35/month. I was "invited" to become a Partner after my total views hit 1 million.
Beer money. *shrug* :grumble:

I was a partner at like 500 subscribers. I have around 145$ in my account now... I don't know how to get my check though so it doesn't mean anything.

Not at all; at least that wasn't my intent. If I was trying to be cocky I'd point out that his YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/shepmedia) is less than two weeks old, has one animation video, and has no subscribers. I just meant that a lot of other people do see "a point" to my videos.
But we're getting into topic-drift now. Back to the OP. YT's "Partner" program won't make anyone significant revenue unless they're at the sxephil or hotforwords level. If you're looking for revenue as a primary concern, YT is not the place--try revver or metacafe. If you're looking for "eyeballs" on the other hand, YT is hard to ignore.
