HV30 issue

ok its not really an issue...its not even an inconvenience. However there maybe be a chance it could turn into a bigger problem.
On the flip out lcd screen of my hv30 i just got for xmas there is a weird line that comes and goes. It happens occasionally and makes what is below it darker. sometimes it turns what is below it green. The reason it isnt a big deal right now is that it goes away a second later. but if any of you think this could lead to a bigger problem, please let me know. Thanks!

i had the same thing on a digital camera
and then the screen broke down the road

Have you tried contacting canon?

I called canon and they suggested taking the battery out, waiting 20 seconds and putting it back in. Now its gone! I didnt think it would work, but it did!
