Good sound without external mic input!!

I got a camcorder for christmas, but it did not come with an external mic input. Is there anyway that you guys know of that I can get good sound quality without having this?

Buy a Zoom H2. It comes with a mic jack and a headphone jack so you can plug in mics away from the camera

Get an external recorder like the Zoom H2 that Atomic mentioned, then sync up your sound in post.

Remember to use a clapper.

I had to buy a digital recorder recently and unless you really want it to save to sd card (rather than transfer them from the recorder using usb) then you dont need one as expensive as the zoom. On the more expensive models you are paying for a better mic that you wont be using anyway.
