Anime Studio Characters?

Hey IM,

I own Anime Studio 6 and it's amazing and i love it! BUT I can't draw, so i use the example characters in the program but I'm getting board of them and was looking into buying additional content. Man its expensive! So my question is does anyone know anywhere to get free characters? Or had any indy moguler have made characters?

I wouldn't have a clue, but if I were you (I'd be ugly :P) I would ask one of my artist friends to paint scenery and scan it into my computer, then film my puppet on a green screen.

Cris, think of it this way. Someone might be capable of controlling a puppet without necessarily being good at building new puppets, right?

Well, in Anime Studio, they have "characters" which are kind of like 2D computer puppets. But you interact with them more like a stop-motion puppet than a live-action puppet. (As in, you can grab their arms and legs and twist them into the next pose you want them to take.)

So the N can control these Anime Studio characters, but doesn't know how to create them.

Just draw stickmen and work your way up. It's not hard to learn how to draw.

it takes time and practice.
