Nope. Cheetah is for Mac, pepekura is for windows.
Anim8or (http://www.anim8or.com) is totally free and good.

Just give pros and cons, any info good or bad, maybe list from best to worst if you want to. I need a good one to simply make a 3d model of a body with armor on it but i want the model to look good. thanx

I'm a fan of 3ds Max.
Max, Lightwave and Maya are very similar, but have their own quirks. The best 3d program is the one with the interface you're used to.

Right, if you're a painter, you're going to most likely produce something superior with a brush than with a pen.

I like using 3d studio max. You might happen to like Maya or Blender or whatever.

Yup download trials or some free ones like ani8tor or blender and see how you like them
