Fred Seibert started Next New Networks I believe. He is the founder of Frederator, they made Oddparents, and Chalkzone and some other stuff for Nick.

He started Channel Frederator a few years ago, and it's a podcast of animation and stuff, and Next New Networks seems to be an extension of Channel Frederator, with similar sites to Channel Frederator, but instead of being dedicated to just Animation, there is Comics, Independent Film, Clothing making, etc.

I am guessing he started it with either personal capitol, investments, or loans. Could be any of them, or a combination, that's a lot of ways to get money for a business.
