Is blender easy to use? If anyone has any tips on it also please tell me! Thanks!

Huge learning curve. Keep at it. Learn through tutorials. I used The Bullet from Video Copilot. It is very easy to follow and worth every penny.
Within 4 days of downloading, I made this.

So it is possible to learn quickly if you try hard enough.

Like I said, people are often thrown off by the complicated looking UI. It's not that bad. I just stuck with it fairly intensely for those few days and learned as I went.

Maya has just as convoluted an interface. There's a reason modellers and CG folks get paid so much, the software is difficult, stick with it and it will serve you well.

Well I have Blender and I get the interface but that was really good. ha.

Hi,

I used videocopilot.net's The Bullet to get the interface down. Then I just starting making that gun on my own. Blender is really keyboard heavy, so once you know those and how to navigate the menus, your ready to start making stuff and exploring what buttons actually DO.
