Hey I use sony vegas 8 pro and I wanna use this creepy music and each time it comes in with the bass or the beat I wanna cut to a different clip but how am I gunna do it cause I'm havin trouble

hmm, shouldn't be hard. you just cut your clips and insert the clips you want at the points in the audio that you want. that's pretty basic. what's the trouble?

I tend to open the file in audacity, adjust to a suitable zoom level and then let it play, adding a label roughly where the peaks are. I've found that one doesn't need to sync it up perfectly, the viewer's brain makes them sync up quite well as long as you've got it about right.

It's how I did the name cards in the current iteration of the Napier Subculture Podcast's intro sequence.
