Hey this summer me and my brother are going to drive to the midwest but can't decide where to go. Whats a cool place that isn't touristy but has something majestic or incredibly interesting there?

Chicago is always fun, but scary at the same time.

Agreed. I went there with my family, and we decided to take the subway. We took the subway back at about 11 o'clock.

That was scary.

where do you live cause if you live in the west then you should come through western Nebraska and see carhinge then go and see the kerney archway and the praore pionier museume then get to my part of the state and see some of the nice art and history museums and if your doing it during the 4th of july then come to my town seward and enjoy from 7 am to 10 pm of patroticness and we might even run into you who knows you might even be the tourist family thats "kidnapped" and put into the parade

Downs IL. It's a little village, one of those that you probably won't find on a map, but if you do, cool. There's nothing interesting a tourist would find there. No cool scenery or monuments. But you've got amazing people there. Just mighty fine people who actually care about your problems and actually listen. It's a place where you can be heard.

We did a Midwest/West tour after the storm. Went north to St. Louis, saw the Gateway Arch. Quite cool and clautrophobic. Went to Mt. Rsuhmore and Crazy Hore in South Dakota, Devil's Tower in Wyoming, travelled down to New Mexico (Roswell) and back home. Lot's of cool stuff all along the way! Don't miss the Corn Palace in South Dakota, any of the Rockies in Colorado, or the LOOOOONG trek thru Texas from El PAso to Houston.

Anyway you look at it, you'll have a blast! Enjoy!
