for about 6 seconds in my movie i need missiles bing shot into the ground i only need to see like one but i would like to have one great looking one so that its believable

the actual look im going for- i would like it so that a little off in the distance something really fast shoots down with a thick black smoke trail and kick up tons of dirt

if detinationfilms.com dosn't have something you can use i'm going to say the BEST way to get that effect would be with adobe after effects, i'm sure someone will post another way though

Okay, this may be a bad Idea but if your artisitic you can make a model put some dirt at the bottom and just drop stuff onto it in to the backround, and If there's actors you can edit them in, but I'd go with after effects my idea sounds way to annoying probably wont work rofl

I would go for blender 3D... but it takes a while to learn... but then again I could do the CG for you...
