I just wanted to a) tell people about who don't know
or b) talk about to those who do , the Pivot Animation program.
I find it to be extremely useful, fun, (and free), and I only got it a few hours ago. I might even make a youtube series with it...but here's what I've made in about 20 minutes.

You need to work on the smoothness of your animation and remember everything doesnt happen at a fixed speed.
It looks like your using Pivot 2. Do a search for pivot 3 beta. There used to be an official MSN group that the guy who made it used to run and there was a huge community of people who made sticks (Pivotable objects) and lets others use them for free. I'm not sure if they set up somewhere else but the community was great, see if there is somewhere new like that.
Believe it or not Pivot (coupled with Indy Mogul) is what got me into filmmaking.

Me too, I was really into Pivot before I got into filmmaking. I got to a point where I was somewhat good / okay, but if you keep at it you can make some really cool stuff with it.

I know I'm just excited that I found the program!
Once I get good at it, this could be just what I need to animate my Math Class doodle series!

you need to make that animation a LOT smoother.
you can also get free pivot objects, vehicles, weapons, sets, people, etc. at droidz.org (http://www.droidz.org)
go there to get cool stuff. I was thinking about making a series on youtube as well. maybe, if any of you guys want to, we can start a "group" and make the series together!
what do you think?

Talent and experience count for ten times more than the tools. When I was a kid, I made terrible animations with a marker and transparencies. People with skill and experience could make very good animations with the same tools.
