Final cut express 4 help!

do you know how to import from a usb into final cut express 4,i really need to do this,i have just bought it today and do not know alot about it,please help me if you can

You can't. Video has to be imported through firewire or through HDMi with a capture card.

inthe detonation films tutorials,it talks about in final cut express:right clicking on the clip and selecting composite,and then choose the sutible one,but when i right click,it just comes up with a mini menu,how to get the menu that gives you all the other options,
