im not going to lie. i love these books no matter what. although they are somewhat books for kids, i have always been addicted to the series. has anyone else liked or still like these books?
and i wish they could at least make a remake of the movie. it was so bad i cant even talk about it.

They were interesting for a while, but in the end it seems that the author just got tired of writing them and threw in as many weird conspiracies as possible.

I think I got to the 11th or 12th book and got bored. I wonder what happened at the end.

nothing.
The sad fact is, that's true. I know that the Series has an air of mystery about it on purpose, but there were many more things that should have been revealed, rather than pissing off readers. I still love the series though.
And yes, the movie was hideous.

Too many loose ends not tied up. Hell, we didn't even get to find out what the sugar bowl was!

i read to the end just to see what happened. but nothing did.
The ending of the series: SPOILERS!
From what i can recall, Count Olaf Dies after the 3 kids and him are stranded on an island with a set of people that live there. somehow the Baudelaire children's parents were connected to the island for some reason. But in the end, Count Olaf pretty much asks for forgiveness of the Baudelaire children and then he dies. I liked the way Count Olaf and the Baudelaire children resolved their differences but they need to answer some of the questions left.
