Im sorry, this is a photography question, but it just seems like i have alot of photography questions. anyways...
Basically, here is the deal. I have recently been taking pictures with my nikon d80 in RAW (nef) format rather that jpeg. I love how i can manipulate the RAW's, but i have run into some problems converting them to jpegs after editing.
So, i take some RAW pictures, then i bring them into photoshop cs3 on a Mackbook (not the newest ones). I edit, color correct, put filters on, adjust exposure, ext... Then, when i save the image (to jpeg) i have the option of including the adobe RGB color profile. I have tried this with and without including this. If i include it, the picture looks fairly accurate to the raw on the computer. The file without the profile looks very inaccurate and looks like most of the reds have been extracted from the image. Now, when i put the two images online, the both look IDENTICAL... in a bad way. they both look like the file without the Adobe RGB profile, that is, they look very greenish.
So, do you guys have any idea why my RAW's look the way i want them to in PS, then look poor once converted to jpeg?
