Help in final cut express 4

help,i accidently closed my time line and canvas,and cannot get them back,when i try and reset my layout from 'window' then 'layout' and then 'standered' it does not work,and i have tried everything google has told me,and when i select 'window from the top,in the menu, canvas and timelinne are both shaded in,i cannot select them,please help me,i am worried!

and also,can i export my project into idvd?,if so how?,and can i do this without a timeline?,arggghhh,help!

Restart your computer. if that doesn't work. uninstall the program and then install in again. that should work.

Click on "sequence" in the Browser window.

done!it's back!,now i need to find out how to burn them to a disc.........
