Grind House Film Look

Does anyone know how to achieve this look. If it is a matter of editing i am using Sony vegas 8 pro.

One way you could do it is shoot your movie all on film and play it over and over and over on a projector. Maybe even drag it across the floor a bit too.

A few years ago, some magazine had CineLook 1.9 on their coverdisc for free. I would try to hunt that down, or more easily, check out some of NewBlue's FX for film damage and simulation. A lot of programs come with them now: Vegas Studio (both the low and high versions), Corel's VideoStudio Pro, and I think Pinnacle Studio. Also, it's as much to do with cinematography (camera angles and lighting) and editing choices (film pacing, etc.).
