well, this is the camera i bought today, just wanted to share it and see what you guys think of it.
as for all the US people you'll have to do a currency conversion to get a us dollar price ^_^

I'd say it would be a good enough starting camera but I wouldn't expect anything like HD for the price

Given that people still make videos with old PolaVision cameras, anything you use that is suitable for capturing moving images, will allow you to be a filmmaker. The whole "my megapixels are bigger than your megapixels" argument is for fetishists and "format queens". What matters is what you capture and what you're saying with what you've captured.

i have that very same camera but i think its better than the one in the first post though, it has some regular manual controls.
