Hey guys. Right now i am filming with a low end canon camcorder and i want to get a more professional camera. I have been thinking of getting the Canon XL1 but seeing as how it is (as far as i know) no longer being made and the only one i could get is used off of ebay or something, im not sure what to do about getting my hands on one. My first question is directed more towards XL1 owners. What degree of difference in video does the XL1 make compared to other camcorders? Also, does the xl1 still hold up in comparison with newer non-professional cameras today? Because getting an xl1 is going to be tough, what are some other professional looking camcorders around the $1,000 price range? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading this!
